Lighting or Decorative Composition

Lighting and decorative compositions differ in their primary functions and purposes:

Lighting Compositions
- Primary Purpose: Illumination. These compositions are designed to fulfill lighting functions, such as primary, accent, or decorative lighting.
- Focus: The emphasis is on the selection of light sources, their placement, and the management of light to achieve a specific visual effect or create the desired atmosphere.
- Components: They may include various types of lighting, such as LED panels, fixtures, strips, and other elements aimed at creating the necessary level of brightness and illumination.

Decorative Compositions
- Primary Purpose: Aesthetics. These compositions are created to add decorative elements to the interior, enhance its appearance, and create a visual focal point.
- Focus: The emphasis is on the design, shape, color, and texture of the elements rather than the functional aspects of lighting.
- Components: They may include static or dynamic decorative elements, such as sculptures, paintings, textiles, and other decorative items that may be illuminated, but their primary purpose is visual decoration.

In some cases, lighting and decorative compositions can overlap if lighting elements are used as part of the decor, creating a synergistic effect and combining the functions of illumination and decorative design.
